Race Day Information

Friday, March 31
11:00am-7:00pm: Packet pick-up at Victory Family YMCA (101 Long Green Blvd., Yorktown).

Are participants required to pick-up their race materials in person?
If you are picking up a race packet for another person, you must bring the authorization form with you to packet pick-up.

Saturday, April 1
6:30am-8:am: Race day packet pick up near start line, same day registration, and personal item check-in opens.
8:30am-11:00am: Family Fun Zone opens
8:00am: 10K run
8:15am: 5K run/walk
9:30am: Awards ceremony (top three in each category. Age group winners will be mailed their awards.)
10:00am: 1-mile Fun Run

Race Day Parking
Limited parking spots are available in the parking garage on Water Street. Click here for a complete parking map.
Shuttles will be provided to and from the York County Courthouse (300 Ballard St, Yorktown, VA 23690), another parking option, from 6:45-11:30am.

Race Bibs
Please be sure to wear your bib number on the front of your shirt at all times, including when picking up your goodie bag. Your bib number must be visible at all times during the race.

Adult Beverages & Drivers License
Each participant age 21 & over receives 2 beverages (wine, beer or soft drinks). A drivers license must be presented each time you receive beer or wine. Participants must wear their bib in order to receive a beverage. You may check you drivers license and other items at the personal item drop-off.

Family Fun Zone
There will be a variety of games and activities for the entire family from 8:30-11:00am. It is FREE and open to the public. Feel free to invite youth who may be interested in joining the fun.

Race Awards
The awards ceremony is at approximately 9:30am. The top three winners will be recognized, and age group winners will receive their award via mail within 6 weeks after the race.

Safety & Weather Policy 
Race personnel reserve the right to delay, cancel, or suspend the race or modify the course due to inclement weather. As stated on registration and race pages, there are no refunds or transfers. Participants must abandon the race if ordered to do so by the race personnel, medical staff, fire/paramedics or police personnel.

Race Etiquette
The 10K participants are expected to complete the course within 17 minutes per mile. Due to insurance regulations, roller blades, and bicycles are not allowed on the course. Strollers will only be allowed at the back of the starting pack for the 5K race. We also encourage a headphone-free environment during our events. Please be mindful of the other participants and respect the race personnel to ensure a safe and enjoyable race for everyone.

Dogs 
Dogs are not allowed on the race course.

Refund Policy
There are no refunds for registration fees. You do have the option to defer your race to the following year. The cost to defer is $20. If you would like to defer your registration, log into your RunSignUp and account and you can manage your defer from there.
